Paralakhemundi,(Tarini Prasad Panda): Prafulla Kumar Panda, Professor and Dean,School of Engineering & Technology, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Paralakhemundi, Odisha, was felicitated with the prestigious Inspiring Citizens Award during the Award Conclave and National Seminar on “Reshaping a Greener Future,” organized by the Institute of Self Reliance (ISR) at the Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The honour was conferred in recognition of his outstanding academic excellence, sustained research contributions, and impactful professional service in the fields of Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Disaster Management. Prof. Panda also delivered an insightful keynote address on “Reshaping a Greener Future Using Remote Sensing Approach,” emphasizing the role of geospatial technologies in environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and informed policy planning.
